Breathing is Overrated.
My lower back and hips were in no condition to do this, so I did 40 minutes of work on hip and shoulder mobility (I have godawful mobility in the shoulders and ok mobility in the hips) and then did a short skill practice circuit in my vest with box jumps, front squats, and pushups.
