  1. This is going to be awesome. I don't have to leave my firepit of a garage . . . .

  2. R1. 198lb/124s = 1.6
    R2. 198lb/151s = 1.31
    R3. 198lb/169s = 1.17
    R4. 198lb/216s = 0.92

    Total = 5

    I think that's what you meant by the scoring system, not including the vest in that obviously.
    Really should of thrown another 5-10kg on the front squats though.

    Regards from me and my vest in England.

  3. I only had 115lbs worth of weights cause the rest of them are still coming over from the old gym.
    115/75=1.53
    115/67=1.72
    115/66=1.74
    115/70=1.64
    also excluding my makeshift 27lb vest.

  6. I invented this one, but I still sucked at it:

    205/1:27
    205/1:26
    205/1:27
    2:05/1:29
    Score = pounds/seconds = 2.36 + 2.38 + 2.36 + 2.3 = 9.4

    Front squat form needs major work. Once Auvest is over I will hit it more regularly.

  9. Hello fellow freaks:

    Ok, 15# vest, and injured back hahah, whining.

    95# front squat, kb at rx:
    1:32, 1:20, 1:20, 1:20, 1:20
    total: 4.57

    the difference in round 1 and 2? racking and dropping the bar. I'm happy to sustain the remainder of the rounds to the second, and SUPER HAPPY that Russ called me a bitch :)

  10. I take it you made it through every set of swings without stopping Russ? It was increasing my anger having to stop here and there knowing someone would make it through with no break haha.

  11. I'm asking forgiveness from the Auvestry (that would be the term that refers to our fraternity of the vested)> I didn't have a 55bl db - thought I did, but didn't. So, this one done using a 45lb Kraiburg bumper plate in lieu of. I'm hoping the 10lb deficit is made up for by the awkwardness of grip and size.

    Used 225 for the FS (bad idea - that's not that far off my 5 RM and quicker would have been better for scoring purposes as it turns out).

    Rd 1- 112.5 secs= 2.0 (4 mins rest)
    Rd 2- 108 secs = 2.08 (4 mins)
    Rd 3- 106 secs = 2.12 (4.5 mins)
    Rd 4- 115 secs = 1.96

    For an 8.16 - livable. Did not expect the vest to make the FS feel, well, 20lb heavier. Thought having it on my body wouldn't translate the same way. It translates - evidently the vest speaks in all tongues.

    knee started dippin in toward mid line on third set of 225 front squat so backed off weight. rest between rounds was 3-5 min. all swings unboken. vest affected front squats plus did a tough workout on rest day and like 30 plus muscle ups because it was the first time to ever get them. just all of a sudden clicked and once i started i couldnt stop doing them i was so frickin pumped

  13. Dale:

    Your substitute is accepted because you coined the term AuVestry, which I fully intend to use. A lot.
