ANNOUNCEMENT: This Saturday (8/8) the WOD will be a 5k run. I'm posting this now because I want you to have time to find the hottest, steepest, ugliest 5k you can. Ideally it should be steep enough to induce mild vertigo, and you should have to fight off a minimum of one wild, predatory animal per kilometer.

5 front squats (go heavy!)
35 swings (1.5 pood kettlebell or 55# dumbbell/1 pood kettlebell/35# dumbbell)
Rest as needed between rounds.
Divide pounds by time in seconds for each round and post individual rounds and total score to comments.

This has nothing to do with CrossFit, or AuVest. I posted it because NO ONE IS SENDING ME THEIR AUVEST PICTURES (except TexasPatrick, of course.) Also because, you know...Chuck Norris.

What are your thoughts on AuVest so far? For those of you who'd never used the vest before, what's the difference? For those who have, what's it like having people to compete against, and knowing that for this month you HAVE to do the WODs vested, rather than by your own perverse choice?
